Rather than follow a set course, Jim tailors each lesson to the needs of the individual student, using not only his own custom coursework but also drawing from his huge library of books and play-along tracks. For example, for some students, lessons would focus on learning some simple beats and fills to practice and then possibly songs to play with a band. Some students wish to learn more technical aspects such as Linear Phrasing, the Moeller Technique or wish to achieve a graded exam (Jim’s students have a 100% pass rate with Rockschool and Trinity Rock and Pop exams).

Location

Jim currently gives lessons from his home studio near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. He caters to all ages and levels from complete beginner to advanced.
